SOOOO BLESSED

So...if you read the last post...very interesting, huh? :) As of 5 pm or whenever I wrote that, I had zero symptoms or contractions and 12 hours later, we had a baby! I labored at home without really knowing that it was labor because my contractions were not consistent all night and the OB nurses said since its my first baby, to wait until they were consistent. I waited all right. Til I was 10 cm, +1, and pushing....oops! But we made it to the hospital and he arrived safely.

Since then, I have realized a little of how blessed I really am with this baby. Not only did He orchestrate the labor so I could deliver naturally, push hard to get him unstuck from my pelvic bones, and have a safe surgery from the tearing, he has given me so many blessings since I've been home. I have had hardly any pain from the stitches and little pain medication to help at the hospital, I was able to walk around with no problem right away, my milk came in and boy did it come in! I have an overabundant milk supply, which is a little difficult for little Jaden to handle at times, but it is a good problem to have I guess! Jaden eats like a pro for the most part. He is such a content baby. He doesn't like diaper changes but if you talk to him, he calms down quickly. Craig used the aspirator in his nose last night and he did not cry AT ALL. I thought he would hate it and it took a while to get the little bit he had out, but he was sooo good. I couldn't believe it. And if you thought God blessed us enough already, Jaden sleeps for 3 hours at a time at night! He eats and then goes right back to sleep for another 3. I cannot understand how we got so (I don't want to say lucky because it is a gift from God) blessed. I am just so thankful. I am rested and each day is getting easier and more exciting. Craig is such a great husband and dad to us, I am extremely grateful for him and don't know how single moms survive. He is my support system for sure. His job is flexible enough that he can stay home for a few extra hours and come home for lunch everyday and for that I am more than extremely thankful.
MAN!! GOD IS GOOD! And our baby is almost a week old. Thank you, Lord for such a wonderful week full of blessings and such a sweet baby.

Here are some cute pictures of Jaden for you to enjoy. :)

What a sweetheart. We cannot believe he is ours and we cannot get enough of snuggling him. He rarely gets put down. :) We are so blessed. Thank you, Lord.
