due date

Due date has arrived...and still absolutely nothing. :) Craig tried giving me foot rubs, I've been doing exercises and walking around the house during contractions, we thought the terrible weather would do the trick or having in laws in town for the evening, planning get togethers with friends so he would come when we weren't expecting it, I even tried NOT nesting...I left the dishes undone for and didn't shave my legs for days. Still nothing. I am thankful to have gone full term...but when the doctor tells you that 38 weeks is full term and the baby will come safely anytime after that...those two weeks become very very long...and this week will probably be as long as both of them combined. I'm not sure about being induced and the effect it will have on me or the baby, but I really do trust our doctor and am just praying that the baby will come on his own before we decide to induce. Before I let the dishes go undone so long, I cleaned and organized the house and stocked up on groceries and water, did all the laundry..everything I thought would prepare us...the suitcase, car seat, pillow, and video camera have been sitting by the door untouched for weeks...and the house needs cleaned and groceries somehow already got eaten...even the things I thought I "stocked up on". Oh well....enough complaining. I have a full term baby and have had probably the easiest pregnancy ever. Thank you, Lord for more blessings than I can imagine or could have asked for during this pregnancy. You are good to us.
