I am finally posting!!

We made it to St Louis...and have had a blast. We have been all over St Louis with Craig's family during our first week here. Craig has driven everywhere and knows his way around pretty well, but Erica is too afraid to drive the busy highway alone, so she stays home during the day until she can find a job close to home.

The apartment complex has been really nice so far. Our little apartment is the perfect size for the two of us. We have one bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchen and dining room, a living room, and a cute patio balcony. :) We have done almost all the organizing, cleaning, and decorating. Just a few more things to hang on the wall and a few more boxes to take to the storage unit.

The apartment complex has a pool, sauna, work out facility, tennis courts, sand volleyball, 24 hour wireless and cable TV in the clubhouse, free printing, free movie rentals, and a coffee/tea/cocoa bar with Otis Spunkmeyer cookies everyday! :) So, Erica stays busy eating cookies, drinking hot tea, and watching movies or sun bathing by the pool during the day lol just kidding. She does clean house and do laundry once in a while. :)

We tried out a church Sunday, but neither of us were really sold on it. Too big city we think. :) Erica's parents know quite a few couples and families in St Louis, and we got to have dinner with one of the families who told us about a few more good churches in the area, so we will have to check those out and find one that fits us best.

Craig wears suit and tie everyday to work and looks so handsome. :) He gives the roll of the eyes and the cringe when I tell him that, but he sure does look nice everyday. :)

We haven't met many people at our apartment complex, except for a few that work with Craig. I am looking forward to meeting couples at a church we decide to attend.

We bought lamps at Target last week, and one was broken, and the other was a touch lamp, so it wouldn't work with the light switch. This was critical because we have NO lights in the bedroom or living room. I don't know why there aren't any, but we needed one next to the door for the light switch to work. So, we took them back and got new ones and we love them. We don't have cable right now, so we play games, play the Wii or watch movies in the evenings. We have played tennis once and worked out on the tread mills once. We have been to a couple different grocery stores, but the sales aren't NEAR as good as in Warsaw. I miss Kroger. :)

Another thing (and I haven't broken this to my mom yet) there are NO JoAnne Fabrics in STL! I just got a new sewing machine and NO JoAnne's. I guess I'll have to sign up with Hancock or Michaels or something. :(

Meals have been ... interesting... lol, no it hasn't been that bad. We got a new grill from Craig's parents, so we grill out sometimes, or I'll try one of my mom's delicious recipes, and Craig comes home everyday for lunch, so we have lunch together everyday (which ERICA LOVES). We eat breakfast together too, unless Erica takes too long on the pancakes and she eats after he eats and leaves for work....that happend this morning. lol.
