Christmas Goodies
We got WAY too much stuff for Christmas this year. Husband, in-laws, parents, family go wayyy overboard in generosity to us! Having a second child makes all the more to load up and take home, but boy are we excited for the next few weeks and months of fun toys...baby, toddler, and grown up ones of course. :)
There is no way that I could list every thing we got, but I will write the highlights!
Erica: Shark Steam Mop! 10 circle or flower paper punches. scrapbook paper galore! stamps and cards for card making. Sannux shoes. CrockPot with a lid that latches!. Joanns gift card. favorite hair salon gift certificate. nail polish. hair brush. measuring cups and spoons. tiny spatula scrapers. winter gloves. spending cash. boathouse gift certificate for a date night. julie and julia. tervis tumbler.
Craig: A saw. remote control helicopter. cubs hoodie and tee. ND polo, hoodie, and tee. cubs tervis tumbler. lowes gift card. jumper cables. movies. board games.
Jaden: Leap Pad 2! Fisher Price Farm and Garage. t-ball set. puzzles. trains. books. cool cups. remote control car. toothbrush. ball popper toys. crayons. playdoh. toothbrush. snowman pez. lion king. veggie tales. duplo and lego kits. personalized family matching game made by grandma. bible song cd.
Tyler: Scout the dog. cd player. pacifiers. football rattle. frog toy. lullabies. books. nursery rhyme toy book.
Jaden was so much fun this Christmas. He had no idea what was coming on our Christmas morning as a family. We said where is your Elmo stocking. He looked up to where it had been hanging all December and he said, Nope. Then he looked on the couch and saw all the stockings and presents and his jaw dropped! He didn't see his elmo one yet so Craig pushed its hand to make it sing. Then Jaden saw it and just wanted to push the button for it to sing. He didn't know the stuff inside was for him! We ate breakfast first then opened stockings and gifts. Jaden loved each thing that he got and said "out" to each one wanting to get it out of the package and use it. He then opened his presents and wanted the "biiiig" presents first. :) Then when he had 3 left we said, "do you want to open another one?" he said "no". Haha. He was done. :) One of his favorite stocking stuffers was his new toothbrush and his snowman pez. :)
The next Christmases we went to (3 more in one day!) he knew what to do! He was up at 5:45 am and was running and jumping all over the living room all morning. He was so excited, but Im not sure he knew what he was excited about! He fell asleep in the car on the way to Christmas #2 and slept 3 hours after we got there! He was ready for more after that!
He was such a good boy all day. So excited about life. So sweet.

Oh boy... what a lot of things!! :) So fun that Jaden could participate and open... I think Carson felt the same way after a while... "no more opening now, please!" :)
